Introducing the Co-video Festival

Creativity will prevail.

We know that the voices of our young people need to be heard, more now than ever.  The Co-video Festival was designed by the teachers at Strathcona to provide a platform to celebrate the creativity of young women across Melbourne and give them a platform to share their vision.

Students from participating schools are invited to put together a film or animation on the theme of “Connection”.  They can interpret this theme anyway they wish, but we do have some prompts to start them thinking.

Films must be 3 minutes or less

  • Middle: Grade 5-Year 8

Films must be 4 minutes or less

  • Senior: Years 9-12

  • Films must address the festival theme of connection

  • Films must have been completed after the launch date of 7 April 2020

  • Films must be submitted correctly by Friday 22 May at 5pm

  • Films must be suitable for children or teenagers aged between 5-18 years

  • Every entry must be accompanied by release form for all participants, signed by parents
